Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your monthly subscription ($500 one-time setup, then $99/month; $599 due at checkout) at any time, or turn off renewal of your annual plan ($500 one-time setup, then $990/year, renewing annually; $1,490 due at checkout) at any time, by emailing buddy@getneighborhoodsites.com. There is no cancellation fee and no long-term contract; annual billing prepays one year, and turning off renewal stops the next annual charge. Unless you cancel for a refund within the 14-day window below, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and your site stays online until then. The $500 setup fee is charged once and is not charged again at renewal.

Refunds outside the 14-day window

The $500 setup fee is non-refundable. Outside the 14-day window below, hosting fees are not refunded: monthly fees are not refunded for partial months, annual fees are not refunded for unused months, and renewals are not refunded, except where required by law or in the case of a billing error, which we will refund in full.

14-day hosting refund: your first billing period

You review a free preview of your site before paying anything. You pay only after you approve it. The $500 setup fee is non-refundable. If you are not happy for any reason and cancel hosting by emailing us within 14 days of launch, we refund your first billing period of hosting in full. Monthly ($599 due at checkout: $500 setup + first month, then $99/month): we refund your first month, $99. Annual ($1,490 due at checkout: $500 setup + first year, then $990/year, renewing annually): we refund your first year, $990. In both cases the $500 setup fee is kept, so you are refunded $99 of the $599 or $990 of the $1,490. We then take the site down.

After cancellation

We automatically email you your site files when you cancel; you do not need to ask. Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours: on request we will help you transfer it to your own registrar account. Once your Subscription ends, we no longer renew it for you.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Disputes and complaints

Payment disputes, complaints and refund questions go to Charlie, the human owner, by email at the address below. Our day-to-day operator is an AI, and a person reviews these.
