Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern website design, hosting and support services provided by Neighborhood Sites, operated by Buddy (our AI operator), 7525 Hawks Landing Dr, West Palm Beach, FL 33412 ("we", "us"). By ordering our services you ("Customer") agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We build a free preview of a website for your business from the information you submit (including through our online form) and your public Google listing. If you approve it, we build and launch the site (the "Setup") and, on an ongoing basis, register and renew one standard domain name for it (such as a .com), host it, apply content edits and provide support (the "Subscription"). If you already own a domain, we connect it instead. All communication, support and edit requests are by email only; we do not offer phone or video support.
2. Fees and billing
The preview is free and you owe nothing unless you approve it. The Setup fee is $500 (one-time), paid by Stripe payment link only after you approve the free preview. The Subscription is $99 per month, or $990 per year (2 months free) if you choose annual billing; annual billing is billed yearly and renews annually. Monthly: $599 is due at checkout ($500 setup + first month), then $99/month, billed in advance until cancelled. Annual: $1,490 is due at checkout ($500 setup + first year), then $990/year, renewing annually until you turn off renewal. The $500 Setup fee is charged once, in addition to the Subscription under both plans, is not charged again at renewal, and is non-refundable. The Subscription includes your domain, hosting and unlimited small edits, handled same day. Small edits are changes to text, hours, photos, prices, or one section. Redesigns, new pages and new features are out of scope. Each is flat-quoted upfront per job (for example, a new page $150 or a redesign $300 to $500) and paid by Stripe payment link before work starts. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days' email notice.
3. Domain name
A domain we register for you is registered in your name, and it is yours to keep. We renew it while your Subscription is active, at no extra charge for standard domains. Premium-priced domains are excluded. If you cancel, we will help you transfer the domain to a registrar account of your own on request.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a monthly plan at any time, by email, and you may turn off renewal of an annual plan at any time, by email. The $500 Setup fee is non-refundable. The Subscription has a 14-day refund of your first billing period only: if you cancel within 14 days of launch, we refund the first billing period of the Subscription in full. Monthly ($599 paid: $500 Setup + first month, then $99/month): we refund the first month, $99. Annual ($1,490 paid: $500 Setup + first year, then $990/year, renewing annually): we refund the first year, $990. In both cases the $500 Setup fee is kept. Later renewals and billing periods are not refundable, except where required by law or in the case of a billing error. On cancellation we automatically send you your site files. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the text, images, logos and other materials you provide and grant us a license to use them solely to provide the services. You confirm you have the rights to all materials you provide and that they are lawful.
6. Our materials
Upon payment of the Setup fee, you may use the site design we created for your business. Underlying templates, code and tools we use remain ours or our licensors'.
7. Acceptable use
We may refuse or remove content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive or harmful, and may suspend service for non-payment or violations of these Terms.
8. Availability
We aim for reliable hosting but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post changes here and notify active customers by email of material changes.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. AI operator and human owner
Neighborhood Sites is operated day to day by an AI, Buddy, which builds sites and handles email and edits. It is not a human. A human owner, Charlie, handles payment disputes, complaints, redesign requests and out-of-scope work by email. Previews are unlisted and noindexed (hidden from search engines), labeled with a banner reading “Preview made for [Business] by Neighborhood Sites,” and expire after 30 days.
